I started The Small Town Social® in March 2018 when I first moved to Pinehurst, NC + wasn’t sure how to make friends as a grown woman.
Today, six years and 50 events later, The Small Town Social® supports thousands of women throughout the area (and beyond!) with its popular socials, immersive personal + professional development workshops, and annual women’s conference, GLOWcon, attracting women from as far as Raleigh and Charlotte, Virginia, New York, and Vermont.
As an award-winning marketer by trade, I bring my 13+ years of public relations experience to The Small Town Social® — a pivotal reason why the group has seen such exciting growth over the years. I’ve been featured by Forbes and Business Insider, and frequently speak at events around the country about the power of relationship-building and networking.
The Small Town Social is a byproduct of my own personal journey to self-discovery, success, and inner peace as a grown woman. It took years of trial and error for me to ultimately step into my power and share my knowledge and experience. I’m so excited to be able to let you in on all of that now too. POWERHOUSE is my passion for connection and personal growth brought to life in digital form.

The POWERHOUSE membership is a private community for all women of all ages and stages, not just those residing in Moore County or North Carolina.
I want to make connection and collaboration as accessible to everyone as possible and this platform is how I’m able to do that and more.
There will be unique avenues just for the OG Small Townies to connect inside of this platform so we never lose sight of our original crew here in Moore County.

Of course! This private membership community is an optional extension of The Small Town Social’s free monthly socials. You only need to join this membership if you're looking to further expand your connections, explore your passions, embrace your individuality, pursue shared goals, celebrate achievements, nurture new friendships, and foster a vibrant and inclusive community to win together as women in between those super fun socials once per month.

Yes, we offer two payment plans. You can choose to pay monthly or you can purchase an annual membership plan and save $$.

When you join, you will be prompted to set up your profile inside of our community platform Mighty Networks. This platform has its own website and app and is incredibly easy to use. You’ll LOVE IT. Once you’re inside, you’ll be able to poke around and immediately start diving into everything as you wish. You also have full control over your plan so you can cancel or adjust at any time.

Yes!! While The Small Town Social® is based in NC, women from all over the world are welcome to join the POWERHOUSE Membership Community to connect. I designed POWERHOUSE to be for all women, no matter where they live. Members-only meetups are part of your benefits and, for those not based here in NC, you still have the chance to meet up with us via virtual socials and coffee chats. I was very mindful of this scenario as I planned the community. POWERHOUSE is already packed with several other out-of-towners and “snow birds”!

You have access to all member benefits, including programs, workshops, trainings, etc for as long as you remain a paying member in good standing. Founding members are able to lock in the lowest rate, which means they pay the same low price for as long as they remain a member, even if the cost to join for others goes up in the future.

In the coming months, I’ll have a few different partnership opportunities should you wish to participate in that capacity to draw further attention and exposure to your business (like being listed in the business directory, sharing a deal, etc.).
